Join us for our first ever super session to the Southern Alps of NEW ZEALAND! In this magical land of treeless slopes and turquoise lakes we’re bridging the gap between winters with an adventure unlike anything else on Earth.

NZ slopes are treeless, that means when weather hits visibility can change quickly, so we scheduled this session to take advantage of Spring Time in the southern hemisphere, when the snowpack is most reliable, and clear days are more predictable. Our journey starts and ends at the Queenstown Airport. Over the course of eight days we’ll explore four unique shred fields and two legendary towns. We’ll carve up perfect groomers, slash steep terrain, get wild in a variety of parks, while taking in unforgettable views everywhere we go. Here’s a short breakdown of all the amazing places we’ll go.

Coronet Peak – known for fast lifts and super fun groomers, it’s the perfect destination for perfecting your carving game.

Treble Cone – said to be the best freeride terrain in the southern alps, If conditions permit we’ll use this location to challenge our steeps riding on the double black terrain Motatapu Basin.

Remarkables – home to the Burton Stash, a park made from drift wood and polished concrete, this “remarkable” resort is the perfect place to blend freestyle and freeride, and even explore some side country lines.

Cardrona – is the largest ski area in New Zealand and this place has it all, half-pipe(s), parks of all sizes, fun groomers, and wild freeride terrain. The perfect local to chase your goals.

Queenstown – known as the adventure capital of NZ this town has so much to offer it’s hard to pick one thing, so we scheduled a full day off snow to walk about the area and take in the vibe!

Wanaka – this spot is the landing zone for our adventure at Treble Cone, if everything lines up as planned we’ll take advantage of our trip to TC to grab dinner and explore.

Off hill we’re keeping it simple… For lodging we’ll be staying together in one very large house in Arrow Town a short 20min drive from Queenstown, this location is central as it gives us the freedom to adapt our itinerary to the daily forecast and the needs of the group. Meals will be a blend of Hosted Dinners at Local restaurants and family style meals at our lodge.

If you’re looking to escape summer’s heat and bridge the gap between winters this is the right place at the right time for an educational shred-venture you’ll never forget.

This is an advanced Snowboard session. This session has a minimum participation of (5) persons to operate, if minimum participation is not met within 30 days of travel you will receive a full refund, or you can elect to convert your reservation to a private or semi private session for an additional cost.

-Every evening we’ll look at the forecast and choose the next day’s location based on weather and the needs of the group. Please note the below itinerary is an example-

Day 1, Saturday, Arrival Day

Arrive at ZQN “Queenstown” by 4:30pm and we’ll pick you up. We’ll stop by a supermarket on the way to our lodge so you can grab breakfast and snack essentials. Once you’re all moved in, Coaches will host a leisurely dinner  where we’ll discuss the week ahead and make any equipment modifications for the next day’s adventure.

Day 2, Sunday, Coronet Peak

For our first day we’re headed to nearby Coronet Peak, about a 20min drive from our lodge. This resort is known for its fantastic grooming, fast lifts, and fine weather, making it the perfect spot to get our legs warmed up. We’ll take advantage of Coronet’s shapely terrain and take a deep dive into TURN SHAPE. Whether carving the groomers, slashing the walls of a gully, or wiggling through a mogul line, the way we shape our turns directly correlates to our ability to manage speed and redirect momentum. The better we are at visualizing and executing a “shapely turn” the more prepared we’ll be to handle terrain park features, run out steep lines, etc. After snowboarding it’s back to our lodge for a quick costume change followed by dinner and video rider analysis on the big screen.

Day 3, Monday, Remarkables

About a 45min drive from our lodge, this small shred spot packs a big punch in terms of variety… world class parks, double black side country terrain, and a view that’ll leave you breathless. Our primary goal here is exploration,  with a soft focus on CONNECTING THE DOTS aka “the fundamentals”. Considering a single fundamental through a variety of terrain promotes lateral progression as well as a deeper understanding of cause and effect. This is important because it develops your ability to adapt on the fly and recover when you make a mistake.

Day 4, Tuesday, Cardrona

Cardie’s as the locals call it, is the largest shred spot in New Zealand, and has a long history as being the off-season training grounds for athletes from all over the world. Here we’re going to let YOUR GOALS guide our progression throughout the day… whether it’s 20 laps in a halfpipe, stomping a rock drop, or laying down a circle carve at the bottom of the lift, “we got you!” We’ll take time to capture video for further review and celebration back at our lodge on the big screen.

Day 5, Wednesday, Queenstown

You’ve been riding for 3 straight days so it’s time to take a break. We’re hitting the snooze button and taking our time for breakfast, once everyone is ready to go we’re off to Queenstown for a day of relaxing adventure. We’ll get a Fergburger, take a BOAT TOUR, check out some local shops, and cap it all off with a fancy dinner and an “optional” cold plunge in the lake!

Day 6, Thursday, Treble Cone

Now that you’re good and rested we’re going full send to the NZ’s #1 Freeride spot Treble Cone. TC is about a 90min drive from our lodge, so we’ll be getting up early and grabbing breakfast on the way. If conditions are prime we’ll explore some of the STEEPEST INBOUNDS terrain NZ has to offer while taking in a view you’ll never forget. After snowboarding we’ll head into the town of Wanaka for apres at the lake followed by a nice dinner.

Day 7, Friday, Dealers Choice

For our final day we’ll choose which resort of the 4 we want to revisit. We’ll focus on the ANCHORING SKILLS learned over the week through fun application and celebration. We’ll get a clip of your new found awesome and party shred as a big group, you’ll also have a chance to present any last goals to your coach for some final guidance. After snowboarding it’s PARTY TIME in Arrowtown!

Day 8, Saturday, Departure day

All good things must come to an end (at least a temporary one). We will need to check out of our lodge by 10am, so please be mindful, if you are booking a flight with a late departure you may be spending some quality time at the Queenstown Airport. If you’re extending your trip we’ll happily drop you at your Queenstown Accommodation.
