Mt Hood - Government Camp
Min Age : 21+

This Timberline freestyle snowboard camp is built for riders who want to progress in the park with intention, consistency, and real coaching. Hosted on Mt. Hood, this weeklong camp focuses on jumps, rails, and halfpipe, using structured training and small-group coaching to help you build confidence and style. With access to the Freestyle Training Center (FTC), you’ll ride one of the most consistent park setups in North America—designed to help you learn faster and ride better.

The Progression Sessions Difference

Progression in freestyle isn’t just about trying new tricks—it’s about building the movement patterns that make those tricks repeatable. This camp blends foundational skills, edge control, and body awareness with freestyle progression, so you’re not just landing tricks—you’re understanding how and why they work.

Designed for the freestyle enthusiast, this session meets you where you’re at—you don’t need to be “throwing down” in the park to belong here. Whether you’re working toward your first 360, adding style to a grab, or building toward more advanced tricks like a backflip, you’ll develop skills that transfer across jumps, rails, and pipe. With small groups (4 riders per coach) and some of the best coaches in the world, you’ll get the feedback, structure, and support needed to level up with confidence.

Experience Matters, our coaches hold the highest credentials and have a minimum of years experience, Coaches are..

The Experience

Your adventure kicks off the moment you land in Portland! We’ll scoop you up from the airport and bring you straight to Collins Lake Resort, right in the heart of Government Camp. Forget cramped hotel rooms—your home base is a spacious 1,250 sq. ft. townhouse shared with no more than four other riders. With 2–3 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, a full kitchen, living room, and even a garage, you’ll have plenty of space to spread out, cook, and recharge.

When it’s time to hang out, the fun keeps rolling: we’ve got a dedicated staff house for casual socializing, a clubhouse for big group dinners, and several hot tubs perfect for relaxing and swapping stories with new friends.

On the mountain, progression is the name of the game. Our coaches ride with you until your legs give out (or ski patrol says it’s time to quit!). Each day has a theme carefully designed to match your goals, build confidence, and keep the stoke high. By stacking one day’s focus on the next, you’ll ride away with new skills you never thought possible.

And the fun doesn’t stop when the lifts close. Evenings are packed with optional adventures like waterfall hikes, video analysis sessions, hot tub yoga, or pool flips. Want a quieter night? Kick back in a hot tub, explore the forest, or just relax with your crew.

Food is fuel—and we keep it flexible and FUN. Every townhouse starts stocked with the essentials for hearty breakfasts and healthy packable lunches. Throughout the week we’ll make grocery runs so you can grab anything else you need. For dinners, you’ll enjoy three epic, photo-worthy feasts: a welcome dinner at the lodge, another midweek surprise, and one giant closing celebration! The other nights are yours—explore local restaurants in Government Camp or show off your cooking skills back at the townhouse.

Got your own wheels and your own place? Consider our “COACHING ONLY” option for $2299 (Great option for locals, families, and dog daddies)

This is an advanced Snowboard session. This session has a minimum participation of 9 persons to operate, if minimum participation is not met within 30 days of travel you will receive a full refund, or you can elect to convert your reservation to a private or semi private session for an additional cost.

Day 1, Monday – Arrival Day

Touch down at PDX by 4pm (or meet us in Government Camp by 5:30pm) and settle into your townhouse. That evening, we’ll kick things off with a family-style welcome feast at our lodge—great food, new friends, and a chance to connect with your coach about your goals for the week ahead.

Day 2, Tuesday – Setting the Foundation and Tuning Workshop

We roll out to the lifts around 8:30am for a full day on the mountain. Your coach will help align your riding, gear, and goals while showing you around the park. You’ll leave the day with a clear plan for progression. In the evening, we’ll host a hands-on waxing and tuning session so your board rides fast and smooth all week—skills you’ll keep long after camp ends.

Day 3, Wednesday – Progression & Video Analysis

Now the fun gets focused. You’ll ride with your coach, working directly toward your goals while they capture video of your best. Later, we’ll gather for a deep-dive video session, breaking down your riding frame-by-frame to give you clear, personalized steps forward. It’s pro-level analysis made easy and accessible.

Day 4, Thursday – Smart Riding

By now your legs are starting to feel it, so today is about progressing SMART. Based on the lessons of the previous evenings rider analysis session, your coach will take you through a series of tasks to move you closer to your goals without pushing you past any physical limits. After boarding you’ll have a chance to chill for a bit before heading to town with the Team for a Hosted dinner at one of our favorite restaurants.

Day 5, Friday – Coaches Clinics

Today is all about expanding your horizons. Each coach leads a specialty clinic in a specific environment: JTB’s in the Pipe, Stephanie’s on Medium Jibs, and Ericks at the Airbag and Small Jump, giving you the opportunity to break free from your group and chace your own personal nirvana. Cameras roll again so you’ll have video highlights to review later.

Day 6, Saturday – Final Focus and Celibration

For our final day on the hill we’ll put all that effort to good use and ride till our legs hurt. We’ll form groups based on ambitions and catch a final clip of your progression to show off your new found skills on our Instagram page :). Afterward you’ll have a chance to pack up a bit before our final BBQ Celebration—because progression deserves a proper party and that’s exactly what we’re gonna do!

Day 8, Sunday – Goodbyes

All good things must come to an end… or do they? Departing flights leave after 9am, and we’ll make sure you’re at the airport with plenty of time. But if you’re not ready to stop progressing, why not join us for another session… maybe FFS, Chile, Argentina??

*Please note if registering for 2 consecutive sessions we’ll cover your lodging for the two nights in between free of charge.

Yes. This session is specifically designed as a freestyle snowboard camp at Timberline, with a focus on jumps, rails, and halfpipe progression through structured coaching.

I’ve never ridden park before—can I still join?

Yes. You don’t need prior park experience. We meet you at your level and build progression step by step, starting with fundamentals and working toward more advanced features.

Groups are small, typically 4 riders per coach, allowing for personalized feedback and focused progression.

What does a typical day look like?

Each day includes a freestyle-focused on-snow session with coaching, followed by optional evening activities like video analysis, stretching, or social time with the group.
