What’s New for 2026 “Steeps with Style”

For 2026, we’ve redesigned Steeps with Style to provide more flexibility, more value, and more ways to experience winter in Chile. This year’s program has been divided into two parts: a Tres Valles Core Session and an optional Nevados de Chillán Extension. Riders can join the core session as a standalone trip or continue south for an additional adventure beneath one of Chile’s most iconic volcanoes.

By focusing the core session in Tres Valles, we’ve reduced travel time, increased time on snow, and created a more accessible price point—especially for IKON Pass holders. The result is a world-class Chile snowboard and ski tour that fits comfortably within a work week while still delivering unforgettable riding and cultural experiences.

Tres Valles Core Session $3500 – August 9-15

The heart of this Chile snowboard and ski tour is the legendary Tres Valles region, home to Valle Nevado, La Parva, and El Colorado. Together, these interconnected resorts offer some of the largest lift-accessed terrain in South America, with expansive bowls, steep alpine faces, playful natural features, and endless opportunities for freeride progression.

With a maximum guide-to-rider ratio of 1:3, you’ll spend your days exploring terrain matched to your goals and the conditions. Whether you’re refining line choice, building confidence in steeper terrain, learning to adapt to variable snow, or simply chasing unforgettable turns in the Andes, our guides help you get the most from every day on the mountain.

August sits in the heart of the Chilean winter, when Pacific storms regularly bring fresh snow to the high Andes. Combined with elevations exceeding 12,000 feet, Tres Valles consistently delivers some of the most reliable riding conditions in South America.

Special Ikon Pass Pricing $250 0ff, if using your Ikon Pass and Valle Nevado and *LaParva (*discounted tickets). You can select this discount in durring the registration process

Food, Culture & Santiago

The experience extends well beyond the mountain. Chile is known for its incredible food culture, blending fresh ingredients from the Pacific coastline with influences from Europe and South America. Throughout the trip, we’ll enjoy local restaurants, regional specialties, and group meals that bring the day’s stories and experiences together.

After our final morning on snow, we’ll return to Santiago for a celebration dinner and an evening in one of South America’s most vibrant capital cities. The following day coincides with Chile’s Feast of Assumption celebrations, providing a unique opportunity to experience local traditions before departing. We’ll explore Santiago together, including Cerro San Cristóbal and Sky Costanera, where panoramic views stretch from the city skyline to the snow-covered Andes that shaped our adventure.

Optional Nevados de Chillán Extension $1500 – August 16-19

For riders looking to experience another side of Chile, the Nevados de Chillán Extension adds two additional days of riding in one of South America’s most unique mountain environments. Located on the slopes of an active volcano, Nevados de Chillán offers a completely different experience from Tres Valles. Wide-open volcanic terrain, natural freeride features, sidecountry opportunities, and a relaxed mountain-town atmosphere make this destination a favorite among adventurous riders.

Extension participants will spend an additional night in Santiago before traveling south to Las Trancas, the mountain village at the base of the resort. From there, we’ll explore Nevados de Chillán over two full riding days before returning to Santiago for evening departures home. For those with the time, it’s the perfect opportunity to experience two of Chile’s most iconic mountain destinations in a single journey.

Core Session | Tres Valles & Santiago

Day 1, Sunday, August 9 — Arrival & Into the Andes

Arrive in Santiago (SCL), where our team will meet you for the transfer into the heart of the Andes. Depending on arrival times and mountain conditions, we may squeeze in an afternoon warm-up session before checking into our slopeside accommodations in La Parva. After settling in, we’ll gather for our first group dinner, review the week ahead, and get acquainted with the terrain, goals, and opportunities that await.

Day 2, Monday, August 10 — Finding Our Flow

Our first full day on snow is focused on exploration and acclimation. With access to Valle Nevado, La Parva, and El Colorado, we’ll begin learning how the resorts connect, where snow tends to accumulate, and how conditions vary across the mountain. Most importantly, we’ll establish group dynamics and begin identifying individual goals for the week.

Day 3, Tuesday, August 11 — Freeride Progression

Today we shift our attention toward progression. Working in small groups, guides will help riders refine line choice, terrain management, and movement patterns that create confidence in steeper and more variable terrain. Throughout the day, we’ll explore the zones offering the best conditions while building skills that transfer across the mountain.

Day 4, Wednesday, August 12 — Terrain, Tactics & Adventure

With local knowledge beginning to take shape, we’ll expand our range and seek out some of the hidden gems that make Tres Valles famous. Depending on conditions, this may include hike-to terrain, natural features, expansive bowls, or lesser-traveled zones. The goal is to continue developing mountain awareness while enjoying some of the Andes’ most memorable riding.

Day 5, Thursday, August 13 — Chasing Conditions

By now the group is moving efficiently and confidently through terrain. Today allows us to be opportunistic, following the best snow, weather, and terrain options available. Guides will tailor the experience to the group’s interests, whether that’s technical freeride terrain, carving perfect groomers, exploring sidecountry options, or simply maximizing vertical and fun.

Day 6, Friday, August 14 — Final Turns & Celebration

We’ll spend the morning enjoying our final laps in Tres Valles before descending into Santiago in the afternoon. After checking into our downtown hotel, we’ll gather for a celebration dinner, sharing stories and highlights from an incredible week in the Andes.

Day 7, Saturday, August 15 — Santiago & Feast of the Assumption

Today we trade snowboards and skis for walking shoes as we explore Chile’s vibrant capital city. Coinciding with the Feast of the Assumption, the city comes alive with celebrations, local traditions, and community gatherings. We’ll visit Cerro San Cristóbal for sweeping views of Santiago and the Andes, explore the city center, and take in the panoramic skyline from Sky Costanera before transferring to Santiago International Airport (SCL) for evening departures.

Optional Extension | Nevados de Chillán

Day 8, Sunday, August 16 — Journey South

Extension participants will enjoy a relaxed morning in Santiago before traveling South to Las Trancas, the mountain village at the base of Nevados de Chillán. The journey offers a chance to experience Chile beyond the capital as the landscape transitions from the central valleys to the volcanic terrain of the South. After checking into our lodge, we’ll settle in and prepare for two exciting days of riding.

Day 9, Monday, August 17 — Nevados de Chillán Exploration

Our first day at Nevados de Chillán is dedicated to discovering the mountain’s unique character. Built on the slopes of an active volcano, the resort offers a completely different riding experience from Tres Valles, with expansive terrain, natural freeride features, and access to sidecountry opportunities. We’ll spend the day learning the mountain and identifying the zones best suited to current conditions.

Day 10, Tuesday, August 18 — Volcano Freeriding

With local knowledge established, we’ll use our final full day to seek out the best terrain available. Depending on conditions, this may include advanced freeride lines, natural features, sidecountry exploration, or simply enjoying the unique experience of riding on the flanks of one of Chile’s most iconic volcanoes. We’ll close out the evening with a final group dinner and celebration.

Day 11, Wednesday, August 19 — Return to Santiago & Departure

After breakfast, we’ll check out of our lodge and begin the journey back to Santiago. We’ll arrive with ample time for evening international departures, bringing our Chilean adventure to a close.
