In this second installment of our “Foundations” series we explore the physics behind balanced skiing.

In practice we will analyze the MOMENTS that comprise a variety of turns, allowing us to expose the various relationships between; body movement, mass, inertia, equipment, and surface. With a deeper understanding “how skiing works” and a “process” to analyze it, you’ll be better able to critique your own skiing and make thoughtful decisions as you progress.
