Payments
Payments are accepted through Paypal, Zelle, Venmo, or Direct Bank Transfer. If choosing to pay by a method other than PayPal you must complete your payment within 7 days of your initial reservation to fully secure your spot. If you do not place the necessary deposit within the 7 day grace period your reservation may be cancelled.
A receipt of payment will be sent within 24hrs and is binding to the cancelation policy. Upon arrival of any session you will be asked to sign a release of liability form.
Signing up more than 30 days prior to the arrival day of the Session: A 25% non-refundable deposit is due. The remaining balance is due 30 days prior to the start of the session.
Signing up 30 day or less prior to the arrival day of the Session: The total is due at the time of signing up. *Payments will only be collected once we are fairly certain we can host the session*
Cancellations
We recognize that extraordinary circumstances can lead to a change of plans. If you must cancel your trip for ANY reason the following cancelation policy applies.
Cancel 30 days prior to the arrival day of the Session you’ll receive a full refund of any money spent minus the 25% non-refundable deposit, or you can roll your funds forward for a future session at no penalty.
If you are diagnosed with covid-19 (doctor’s note required) prior to your arrival you will receive a credit minus the 25% deposit to apply to any future session.
Cancel 15 days prior to the arrival day of the Session you’ll receive a 50% refund, or we can hold your funds on file for a future session at no penalty.
Cancel 14 day or less until the arrival day of the Session no refund will be given. However, we understand that events outside of your control can affect your ability to attend. If we can find someone to fill your spot you will hold your funds on file for a future session.
*Session Credits are transferable, so you can gift them to anyone who qualifies for the trip, however if gifted for the same trip the new participant must meet all age and skill requirements, and be the same discipline.
Trip Cancellation and Incidentals
Please note that some sessions/workshops have a minimum participation in order to operate successfully. In the event minimum participation is not met, you will be notified at least 30 days before the first day of the session/workshop and you will be given a full refund. In certain circumstances we may be able to offer you the option to pay extra for a private or semi private session/workshop. Minimum participation is noted on the event webpage under “Overview”.
In the very unlikely event Progression Sessions must cancel the trip due to issues concerning staffing, logistics, or health, etc. you will receive a full refund of all monies paid. Progression Sessions will not be held liable for any cancellation fees incurred by air travel, third-party lodging, etc. booked by you. In this event we will do everything in our power to help you secure lodging, transportation, and instruction though our partner programs.
In the event the session must be cancelled due to circumstances outside of our control such as war, sudden travel restrictions, catastrophic weather, etc. we will refund all portions not already utilized to cover deposits, we will then take every step within reason to recoup deposits and get that money back to you minus any funds spent to recover it. We are not liable for any cancellation fees incurred by air travel or third-party lodging, etc. booked by you.
Weather and snow conditions play a large part in deciding what terrain we will access on any given day. In the event something outside of our control limits or changes access we will do everything possible to ensure a good experience which may include going to a different destination or doing a different activity because the mountain isn’t safe or operating lifts. Circumstances outside of our control will not be grounds for a refund of any kind.
In the unfortunate event of injury during the session we will try to make every possible accommodation to keep you as comfortable as possible, get you the help you need, and get you home if needed, however personal injury is not considered grounds for a refund, however a credit for a future session may be considered.

Travel Insurance – Health Insurance
It is your responsibility to obtain adequate insurance to cover any medical costs that could possibly be incurred during a session. We recommend a world nomads “explorer” policy for all overseas sessions as this covers snow sports and backcountry adventures.
