Late July is the final week of the FTC parks program at Mt. Hood. This means that Timberline pulls out all the stops to make what is left of the snow field ridiculously fun! On top of that most of the Ski race camps and freestyle camps have packed their bags and traveled on, leaving plenty of space to explore, perform, and progress.
Coaches for this event will be:
Erick Espinoza – Big Bear Local now World Traveling Super Coach, AASI-W Trainer/Examiner, Competitive Freestyle Coach.
Joshua Thompson-Bourrie – Head Coach and Founder of Progression Sessions, AASI-W Trainer/Examiner.
Chris Hargrave – Former AASI National Team Member, Olympic Halfpipe Pipe Coach, and all around freestyle genius.
You asked for it and here it is “The heat of Summer Snowboarding” in late July. This session will feature small to medium jumps, jibs of all sizes, and even a mogul line to dial your short turns before winter’s chilly return. This session is small with a maximum of 6 people that means tiny groups and tons of direct coaching.
This session will also be a bit different… due to its small size we will be cooking together, making post shred decisions in the moment and navigating nimbly as a group of friends. What we work on will be based on your desires, and the terrain we have in front of us each day. If you are looking to extend your season without an international flight, or you have that one trick you want to but to bed before really diving into summer activities, this session is made for you!
This is an advanced Snowboard session. This session has a minimum participation of (4) persons to operate, if minimum participation is not met within 10 days of travel you will receive a full refund, or you can elect to convert your reservation to a private or semi private session for an additional cost.
