After riding we’ll head back to our lodge, for a workshop on waxing and tuning your board, followed by a feast and a team building activity at our lodge.
Day 3, Tuesday, Focused Riding and Rider Analysis
You’ll spend the day with your coach working on your goals. Coaches will spend a little extra time on this day collecting video for later deep dive on the big screen at our lodge. Off-hill video analysis and performance mapping are two of the many methods your coach will use to get you on the path to progression. Through detailed comparison of your current performance and your ideal performance, we’ll connect small tasks and subtle movements to your greater goals, unlocking a sequence of skill acquisition that is personal, achievable, and easy to understand.
Day 4, Wednesday, Focused Riding and Recovery
This is the day that fatigue usually sets in, to reduce the chance of injury we’re going to take a very careful approach to your progression. Based on the lessons of the previous evenings rider analysis session, your coach will take you through a series of tasks to move you closer to your goals without pushing you past any physical limits. After snowboarding we’ll head to the windsurfing mecca of Hood River in the heart of the Columbia River Gorge for dinner with a view.
Day 5, Thursday, Something New
This day we are taking a break from the personal goal focus and were setting the stage for you to learn something entirely new.
