Join us for our first “Intermediate Freestyle Camp”. This event is designed specifically for snowboarders who already have experience in the park and are excited to tackle goals in one of the best parks in the country.

At Progression Sessions we aim to deliver the best possible coaches for the Job, and with small camper to coach ratios you’ll get all the detailed attention you’ll need to achieve your goals.

Our Star Coach for this session is Chris Hargrave, AASI National Team Member, Olympic Halfpipe Coach, and Timberline Freestyle Training Center Manager. With 30 years of coaching freestyle to athletes over the world you’re sure to gain the insight you need to reach your goals.

We scheduled this event in May to take advantage of the Northwest’s best “Second Winter” destination. When most ski areas are pairing down or switching off, Timberline is actually expanding their operations hosting; 4+ terrain parks (including a halfpipe); 4,500 vertical ft. of lift driven sliding from the top of Palmer to our Lodge, wide open groomers, and plentiful backcountry opportunities above and beyond the lifts.

Timberline Info

The adventure doesn’t stop when we leave the mountain, every evening we’ll host an optional activity; waterfall hike, movement analysis sessions, restorative yoga, etc. or if you prefer you can spend the afternoon relaxing in one of our on site hot tubs, or competing for bragging rights at the pool table. To keep you going we’ll fuel your body and mind with good nutrition, hardy homemade breakfasts, healthy items to build a perfect sack lunch, and snacks whenever you’re hungry. For dinners we’ll be serving up a family style feast at our lodge, or we’ll make reservations at one of the many local restaurants.

Day 2, Monday, The Mountain and YOU

You’ll spend the day getting to know the mountain with a new crew of friends. Our goal on this day is to understand you and your personal goals; whether it be finally stomping that 360, hitting the medium line, getting upside down, or slaying that 270 off, we want to know so we can take advantage of the week!

When the lifts stop turning we’ll head back to our lodge by car, or (if conditions allow) by way of the Alpine Trail for 3 extra miles of riding. After riding you’ll have a chance to relax and wax up your board, before a social feast and tech talk at our Lodge!

Spend the day on the mountain working with your coach to tackle your goal; we’ll make sure to capture some video this day for a group MA session back at our lodge on the big screen.

After riding you’ll have some time to relax, before dinner and a social MA session complete with prizes!

Day 4, Wednesday, Options..

Usually this is the day mental and physical fatigue sets in. So we are going to provide the option to redirect our efforts for the day. Options may include a field trip to Portland for trampolines and fun food.. a pretty hike followed by a trip to Hood River for some relaxation in the sun.. a half day freeride followed by a backcountry tour up to crater rock.. or maybe a mystery mountain?? Options will be dependent on the groups general ambitions and conditions of the snowpack etc.

Day 5, Thursday, Back at it!

This day is the day we put it all together; get that final clip, tackle that trick, or just enjoy the day with your new shred buddies.
