Join us for our first “Intermediate Instructor Course”. This event is designed specifically for dedicated level 1 Instructors working to achieve the next level of instructor certification. Weather your focus is riding, teaching, technical, or a combination of all three this boutique course is perfect to get you on the road to success.

At Progression Sessions we aim to deliver the best possible coach for the Job! For this event our star coach is Josh Spoelstra – AASI National Team Member, Mt. Bachelor Director of Guest Services, and former school director and training manager for Heavenly and Big Bear Mountain Resorts. Josh not only runs educational clinics and L2 Exams, but is responsible for developing training programs for working instructors that get results. If you want to earn that L2 Silver Pin this course is your best possible opportunity for late season training 🙂

We scheduled this event in May to take advantage of the Northwest’s best “Second Winter” destination. When most ski areas are pairing down or switching off, Timberline is actually expanding their operations hosting; 4+ terrain parks (including a halfpipe); 4,500 vertical ft. of lift driven sliding from the top of Palmer to our Lodge, wide open groomers, and plentiful backcountry opportunities above and beyond the lifts.

Timberline Info

The adventure doesn’t stop when we leave the mountain, every evening we’ll host an optional activity; waterfall hike, movement analysis sessions, restorative yoga, etc. or if you prefer you can spend the afternoon relaxing in one of our on site hot tubs, or competing for bragging rights at the pool table. To keep you going we’ll fuel your body and mind with good nutrition, hardy homemade breakfasts, healthy items to build a perfect sack lunch, and snacks whenever you’re hungry. For dinners we’ll be serving up a family style feast at our lodge, or we’ll make reservations at one of the many local restaurants.

Options will be dependent on the groups general ambitions and conditions of the snowpack etc.
