Portland Oregon
Mt Hood - Government Camp
Min Age : 21+
Max People : 4

Join us this May for our first annual “Advanced skiers Camp”. This event is an outlet for dedicated skiers, instructors, and coaches to get together and share what they know, while gaining insight on new ways to push the limits of their craft.

Your journey starts at the Portland airport. Where we’ll pick you up and take you to our private lodge walking distance from main street and 6 miles shy of the Ski area base. If you prefer to drive you can meet us in Government camp where you can park your car and leave the rest of the driving to us.

We’ll spend our five days on snow focused on you and your goals, while sharing insights as a group to raise the bar. We’ll spend the majority of our days Skiing Timberline. This legendary mecca for progression has it all except crowds. This camp is scheduled in late May for a reason, usually the snowpack offers access to lines from the top of the Palmer snowfield to the bottom of Jeff Flood Express, the parks are super creative thanks to the crew honing their skills at “Cutter Camp”, and the backcountry Ski from the crater is at it’s best. It’s also the time when most industry professionals have a break to focus on their own progression.

Timberline Info

Off hill we’ll fuel your body and mind with good nutrition, hardy homemade breakfasts, healthy items to build a perfect sack lunch, and snacks whenever you’re hungry. For dinners we’ll be cooking at our lodge for a family style feast, or we’ll make reservations at one of the many local restaurants. We’ll cap the entire session off with ceremonious gifts and celebration. By the end of the session we’ll be a pretty tight group, which means you’ll not only be leaving with tired legs but most definitely with new friends you can lean on to propel your snow story even further.

This is an advanced to expert Ski session, participants must be able to safely make turns with confidence on all blue terrain. This session has a minimum participation of 3 persons to operate, if minimum participation is not met within 30 days of travel you will receive a full refund, or you can elect to convert your reservation to a private or semi private session.

Arrive at PDX by 4pm, or Government Camp by 5:30pm. We’ll get moved in and have a leisurely dinner at our lodge where we’ll discuss the week ahead; here you’ll have a chance to discuss your ambitions for the week with the group, as well as make any equipment modifications for the next days adventure.

Day 2, Tuesday, Fundamentals and Exploration

We’ll leave for the lifts at Timberline around 8:30 and you’ll spend the day with your coach getting yourself, your gear, and your ambitions aligned with the mountain. After riding we’ll head back to our lodge and you’ll have a chance to change and relax before we’re off as a group to Trillium lake for a walk with a view. We’ll follow it up with dinner at the local brewery.

Day 3, Wednesday, Focused Riding

You’ll spend the day at Timberline with your group honed into a specific environment or skill set. We’ll take some time to capture some video of your riding, so we can take a more analytical look at your style back at our lodge. We’ll host dinner at our lodge so we can review the days videos and easily transfer to the hot tub for a restorative soak.

Day 4, Thursday, Adventure Day

This is the day that fatigue usually sets in, so to reduce the chance of injury we’re going to shift our focus from skill building to exploration. What we ski this day and where we go is TBD, but garanteed it’s gonna be FUN!

Day 5, Friday, Specialty Clinics

Each coach will have prepared a clinic in a specific environment and you’ll get to choose what you want to do, for example: JTB leads a hike up the mountain to the crater for a massive descent to Govy, while Siamacc leads a clinic on carving through variable terrain.

Day 6, Saturday, Stupid Fun Skiing and Celebration

For our final day on the hill we’ll to put all that effort to good use and Ski till your legs hurt. We’ll get creative, stomp the trick on camera, and take in the good vibes with your new friends. Afterward you’ll have a chance to pack up a bit and get dressed up for our final celebration in town!

Day 7, Sunday, Departure Day

All good things must come to an end (at least a temporary one). Departing flights must be scheduled after 9am. Coaches will make sure you are at the Airport at least 60min minutes before your flight departs.
